More members! We currently have twenty members, which is a good start. The advertising is working, and that's all thanks to you guys, who've advertised. Embers and Rhue, a special thanks to you two for participating in the Advertising Contest. Everyone, word of mouth (or talking about) can also get us members. Tell your roleplaying friends about LIES! Who knows, maybe they'll decide to join?
I'm making up a new category, where we can chat and game, etc. Demaen didn't have the brains to do it, so I'm going to. You must still treat everyone with the same respect in the new boards! If you don't, they will be taken away.
Last but not least, there might be a new rule about mating and pups soon. You won't be able to make a character that already has a mate, nor make a she-wolf that is pregnant, right off the sheet. And I think we won't be able to become mates with our own wolves, since then other members can't mate with your wolves. But that's up to Demaen to decide, neh? If you're reading this, Demented, PM me. Thanks!

The weather is quite fair today. Snow ligtly drops from the clouds, and ice patches are quite common. Nothing out of the ordaniary or exciting.
Rampage Insister is now the member of the month, and the Co-Owner of LIES for a number of reasons. Ramage had been one of LIES first members and has been here since the first month of LIES. Not only that, but when I, Demaen, had gone inactive he had kept all of the members that had joined in my absence active, and he took matters into his own hands and began accepting bios while I was gone so that others could enjoy the site. I, Demaen, think if anyone deserves member of the month it's Rampage.

Northern Lands, Land of Light
Ice Caverns Not the most original name, but the most original lands. Crystals cover ever few inches and are tilted to the perfect angle, an angle that lets the light ricochet throughout the cave, giving suffienct light inside the whole place. Wolves do not know exactly what these crystals are, but they call it ice. This 'ice' happens to be undestructable, and are hard to keep a grip on. Beware, too much noise, and shards of crystal from above may fall, or at least the tips may. They have been shaped over time by errosion, and aren't nearly as strong as the light giving crystals below. Just a pitch too high could cause major trouble, and damage.
Honey Glazed Fields These amazing fields are covered in light, and almost always have rabbits around, and they're quite delicous, that is, if you can catch one. Though they are tasty, they're extremely fast. Not only that, but they turn quite quickly which can knock a wolf off track. Since a wolf at full speed would fumble if it turned to quickly, it would automatically give your prey the edge, though if you take a long turn, how many more paces will the rabbit gain? For adept, speedy wolves only, or for those whom can hide in the tall grasses without making too much noise.
Though there isn't very much water, it does rain quite a bit, and if you dig a hole, you could probably drink water from there, if it doesn't dry up first.
Moon Drenched Lake Woodland surrounds this large body of water, and a sandy bank covers the edges of the deep water. Burrows surround the banks, which are easy to dig in, though they don't last very long due to how wet the sand is. You're lucky if they last more then a day, for they almost always collapse if you turn around to get out. Though, it's only sand, so the worst thing that can happen is you get sand in your eyes, and mouth, or into an open wound.
The lake was named after the time it was found, night, when the moon made it turn pale, almost pure white and you could see right through it, to the bottom where you could stare at the rocks and fish within.
Gold Rush Forest Gold Rush forest is a a beautiful wooded area, where the sound of rain drops is always heard, falling off the leaves of trees, shrubs, plants, and weeds then sinking into the ground; a rythmatic sound that have driven the lights to claiming this beautiful land.
Green leaves are almost always found on the trees, even in fall, when most leaves change. But not here. On the occasaion, they turn a golden color, and in winter they fall off then grow again.
The people may wonder why it's called 'Gold Rush Forest' because barely any golden colors are found here. But if you look to the rivers and streams, flecks of the yellow ore streak the water, making very little of it safe to drink. But there are other ways of collecting drinking water...if you're smart that is.
Ferisen Falls Water drops over the beautiful cliff, and into the lake below. In the valley know as Ferisen, the water plunges into the the rippled surface, a gorgeous sight to see. At night, the moon sparkles on the waterfall which seems to pull the moon's beauty into the lake. It seems to slow just for a second, just long enough so that if you stuck your head right on the water'surface, you'd be able to see all the way to the bottom.
An endless amount of fish thrive in the lake, for there isn't too much else other than rabbits and in the spring, deer in this valley. Because we all know: fish never could sustain a wolf forever.
Techerary Plains An almost endless sea of long grass, rabbits inhabit almost of inch of this place. If rabbits were conscience here, like wolves whom actually think, the rabbits themselves could have claimed this land and started a warren. But they aren't, and they haven't, and they can't.
The emerald strips rise in a battle to see which blade of grass will grow the longest, and then die.
Techerary Forest The miles of woodland surrounding the plains are what make up the Techerary Forest. Shadows cover this place, as it borders the Southern Lands, Land of Shadows. They give it quite an eerie look, especially for a Land of War territory.
Jade leaves cover the tree tops in Summer and Spring and in Fall, the leaves turn beautiful shades of red, yellows, oranges, browns, and even purples! But in Winter, the leaves fall from the trees and freeze on the cold bitter ground, until next year. Creeks are scattered randomly amongst the land and form together in the center, creating a river. The river eventually cuts through the center of the forest and goes all the way to the northern tip of the Techerary Plains.
Resora Orchards This odd place is covered with fruit and nut trees that act as a lure to the creatures that come here. Grape vines climb up the large, thick trunks, that seem to reach to the heavens.
Wolves aren't the only ones that come here; hawks patrol the territory as well. They take away creatures that, for the most part, wolves do not care about. Like mice, and small birds that are nearly impossible for a canine to capture, so they therefore always arrive at a truce.
Ruins' Grave After long years of trying to figure out the name of the golden wolf that once brought an end to the wolves, the canines of the forest finally gave up in their search for his long-lost name, and decieded to call the creature Ruins.
This eerie territory is barren, and covered with blue and red dust. It is said to be the place where the rebellion against Ruin was fought.
All that live here are said to be as ruthless as Ruins himself, and foretold to be just as strong and smart too. Since survival around here is extremely challenging, it is only for the fittest of animals.
Rarely does any prey pass by other than the occasional vulture. But they only seem to come into view when a dying wolf is near, and when caught, they are hardly edible, for they are mostly bones.
Most hunting is done by sneaking past borders. So most hunters around here double up as spies, and have to be quite smart to collect food, water, and to keep their scent hidden. No one can afford to be blamed. Alpha: None Moderator: Demaen

Shadows Valley Shadows Valley, also known as The Valley of the Forgotten, was once impossible to get to...until the thunderbolt struck. It made contact with a huge tree, and it fell, collapsing on top of some boulders. Those same bolders soon rolled down a giant slope, forming a den in the process, and stopped after hitting another tree. That tree knocked down, creating a path so that if where careful not to trip, you could follow it.
A steam runs through the center of the valley's path, making it seem as though it were two seperate territories, and that the stream was the border. Though, it is actually is just one territory. It's just broken into two pieces.
Very rarely is prey found, so hunters must build up their bodies to drag carcasses up and down the steep path, unless that is an unlucky creature falls from the top of the valley, and dies from impact or shock, in that case they just drag it to where the pack is residing.
The Valley is covered in shadows as you may have assumed, for the orchards cover one entire side of the valley. The only time their shade doesn't engulf the area, is at night, when their shadows cannot be seen. And in the late Summer, the shadows begin to dissapear in the early evening, which is when the gloom of the shrubs elaspe the gorge.

Acid Lake At the far corner of the Land of Shadows lies a lake, green as acid. It's color comes from algae within.
It's enough to make a Light gag, though to a Dark, it would be home. No matter how disgusting the water is, it's still drinkable, and food can still be scavengered from the land.
There's only one problem with the place: the landscape is desolute and barren, for there's only one tree for miles. Not only that, but it's like a desert in Summer, and a tundra in the Winter.
Recoro Swamps Throughout the Recoro Swaps, olive colored mud covers the banks, and algae floats randomly around the odd, non-drying puddles.
Mosquitoes florish here, in the strange waters, and very few prey is found. Viruses are constantly being spread by the blood sucking creatures, yet the lands aren't completely bad.
Dens cover the barren landscape, and in spring, deer migrate through here. When you're lucky, the hunters around here can knock the herd off track, and make them stay 'til next season. Food is always a good thing.
Revorio Ravine This is where lovers come to talk, play, and mate. Shrubs cover the ravine's edges, and randomly appear, along side with many plants for privacy.
Females without mates be wary, for there is no law against force breeding here.
Anokoru Falls Crystal clear water falls from the cliff above, and into the beautiful pool below, creating ripples among the water's surface.
Trees surround the whole place, and are quite dense, making this territory quite hard to find, and even harder to find your way out. Though, it is worth it if you'd like to see the falls...that is, if you are male.
Females in heat don't have much of a chance of getting away from here without being force-bred, captured, and changed to slaves. So faes must beware, for this place isn't for the the weak spirited.

Anokoru Forest The dense forest at the base of Anokoru Falls, is home to many of the green pines that stay year round. This place is extremely hard to navigate through, and sometimes lone femmes run into the inforcers and slave dealers that dwell within the lands. These wolves are there to find traveling and unsuspecting 'prey'. Though, it doesn't happen very often, the occasional Fae might just get caught up in a mess like this. So beware!
Green and brown pines needles cover the forest floor, and the trees are green all year round. Deer and other forest dwelling creatures reside here, making this place an ideal hunting place for pack hunters, and loners alike. Moderator: Demaen
Antherio Plains Antherio Plains, the denning grounds of loners in the birthing seasons with their pups, and if they're lucky, mates. Because loners aren't known for their loyality, they normally just leave the females to deal with the pups themselves. After all, male loners are travelers, and beasts, whom have no rules, no guidelines and do what they want, when they want it.
The burrows dug into the ground make perfect dens, and if filled with grass that has been left to dry, it makes a perfect place to raise a family. In winter, they're quite warm, secure, and safe. That is, until a hungry loner male comes along... Moderator: Demaen
